Conquer Rugged Paths with Gyttja
Gyttja (Swedish for the mud between your toes when you walk into a Swedish forest lake for a swim) was born out of our necessity to travel comfortably on our gravel roads. “We” are a family business located 350km north of Stockholm, with 10km to the closest tarmac road. So we decided to build the bikes we would want for our daily commute, weekend trip, or tour around the world.

Swedish Steel Frame
Crafted from high-strength materials like SSAB’s Docol Tube R8 and Strenx for maximum durability on tough trails. Since we know our material so well, we give 99 years of warranty on the frame (see FAQ‘s for more info).
Modularity
After 99 years, you might get tired of the same old bike. Therefore Gyttja come with a vast variety of options when it comes to gearbox, brakes, suspension etc. All Gyttja are Pinion, neodrives, UDH and DH fork ready, so you can at any time up- or down-grade your ride.
Bio, e-bike, or S-Pedelec
Thanks to our modular build, you can choose between non e-assisted, “normal” 25km/h e-bike, or 45km/h S-Pedelec variants.
